The experienced upstream team at SOGC is focused on unconventional resources in basins throughout North America. We have expertise in evaluating source rock, reservoir characteristics and the drilling of horizontal wells with multistage fracture stimulation.

Production

We operate crude oil and natural gas wells in the Williston Basin, Mid-Continent, Permian Basin, East Texas, Michigan Basin and the Rocky Mountain region.

About SOGC, LLC

SOGC's predecessor company, Sinclair, was founded in 1916.  SOGC is a privately held Wyoming company with executive offices in Salt Lake City, Utah. Sinclair owned and operated two refineries in Wyoming along with a network of both crude oil and finished-product pipelines and terminals in the Rocky Mountain and midcontinent regions. The company marketed fuel in 24 states, supplying high-quality fuels to more than 1,300 branded stations, featuring DINOCARE TOP TIER TM Gasoline. SOGC manages its exploration and production portfolios by participating in major oil and gas development projects in the U.S.
